Welcome to Roos HQ

Mt Lawley-Inglewood Roos Junior Football Club is preparing to celebrate its 50th anniversary.
Founded in 1972 as the Mounties, MLIJFC is now one of the biggest junior football clubs in inner suburban Perth, with some 500 members aged 5 to 18 across 17 teams and Auskick.
The Roos’ ethos is to provide children in our local community the opportunity to learn the skills of Australia’s only indigenous game while having fun with their teammates in a safe and welcoming environment.
MLIJFC is 100 per cent self-funded and run entirely by volunteers - parents who serve on the committee or as coaches and team officials.
The Roos is a family-friendly club with a real spirit of community.
Part of the East Perth 'Royals' District in the WA Football Commission’s Central Conference, the Roos are based at Inglewood Oval, Mount Lawley, but will be relocating to a new purpose-built City of Stirling facility at nearby Hamer Park in 2022 - just in time for our half-centenary.

Roos Code of Conduct

The MLIJFC committee has put together a Roos Code of Conduct.

All players, parents, coaches, team officials, volunteers, spectators, supporters or anyone else associated with the MLIJFC should be familiar with the document.
